Awards for dissertations and master's theses on energy research at TU Darmstadt

The advisory board of the TU Darmstadt Energy Center has announced the winners of this year's Darmstadt Energy Prize. The prize ceremony was held on 23 March as virtual event.
The prize for the best dissertation which is endowed with 800 Euro goes to Andreas Taubel (Division Functional Materials), Johannes Oltmanns (Institute for Technical Thermodynamics) and Katharina Warncke (Institute for Reactive Flows and Diagnostics).
The prize for the best master's theses goes to Ariane Auernhammer (Institute for Reactive Flows and Diagnostics), Benedikt Beckmann (Division Functional Materials) and Anna Melina Merkel (Computational Magnetics Group).
About the Darmstadt Energy Prize
Each year, the advisory board of TU Darmstadt Energy Center e.V. awards the Energy Prize on a multidisciplinary topic of energy.
The works are evaluated with regard to their relevance, originality, creativity and their potential use. External form, content traceability for non-specialist readers as well as completeness with regard to the objective of the work also flow into the assessment by the managing committee of the advisory board of TU Darmstadt Energy Center e.V.
All professors at Technical University of Darmstadt are entitled to make proposals. Works from the past two years that have not yet been proposed for an energy price of the advisory board will be accepted.
